Ahead of tomorrow's new episode of Mug 'Em, here's another peek into the unused concepts and sketches behind 'The Troll Trap' title card by Joshua!

From Joshua: Previously on @VLDL's Mug 'Em; Charles and Bernard try to lure unwary adventurers into... The Troll Trap!
This card presented the challenge of having both readable silhouettes and plenty of gunky texture. My research into making images feel wet is ongoing.

The first unused concept is an inverse of the final product; what if instead of looking into a Trolls mouth, we were looking out from inside? A deliberate nod to the needlessly elaborate shot from Frank Oz' Little Shop of Horrors from inside a dentists victim- I mean; patients mouth.

The second is spookier, with a pair of glowing eyes staring from its lair. That big dark area sure would have been easy to paint! And lastly, a visual pun; your classic folk troll engaging in modern trolling. Too silly by half but I'm glad I suggested it.
