To capture the chaotic Looney Tunes energy of Mug 'Em, we teamed up with the incredibly talented @joshuamartian_art to craft classic title cards—drawing inspiration from the wild and nostalgic style of Sunday morning cartoons. Each week we'll post the unused concepts and the journey from early sketches to finished product!

From Joshua: My reputation as a Looney Tunes fanatic continues to pay off! I was lucky enough to create a series of classic cartoon style title-cards for @vivaladirt's new series 'Mug 'Em' starring wannabe-muggers Charles and Bernard trying new traps and tricks which (sometimes literally) blow up in their face.
The first installment opens with this piece featuring a big pile of shiny gold coins. I've included some of the unused concepts we explored, including more symbolic golden traps and the muggers mugs minted on legal tender.
